I have just recently added Google Apps to my website. I made this move because I have been getting tired of receiving spam and annoying e-mails. This move was not based off of the need to have a bigger e-mail inbox as the set-up I have right now is more than enough. I really am starting to see how great of a system it really is and how ideal it would be for Biola to be on such a nice system. In fact an educational institution like Biola would get extra features that I currently do not have access to with the service. I definitely will have to spend more time using and abusing the system. I will not only be using the email services but also the calendar and document services too. I’m excited to think of what it could do if implemented in the California School Project website. We will see if that is an option in the future.

Tonight my sister and I went ahead and made a batch of cookies since I promised… well my mom promised her that I would help her make some cookies this week. We first went online and googled some cookie recpies and found what looked sorta good. We ended up picking the “Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies” on We then left to go get some shortening from Albertsons. Everything was going good until I noticed that I used up all the brown sugar the last time I was making cookies. So my mom was like just use regular sugar. Mistake! haha they tasted like sugar cookies with chocolate chips in them haha. Definitely not the best batch. :). It turned out making 2 sheets of 12 each and I put the rest of the batter in a brownie pan. Well the second sheet of cookies I left in the oven longer because they were on the top and therefore further away from the element. Well I definitely left them in way too long and they were nice and dark brown haha. Hard but not necessarily burnt.

As many of you have seen I have added some Google AdSense units to my site to generate a little bit of revenue on the side. I would recommend this to other blog users that generate a decent amount of page views a day. I would also suggest starting as soon as you can. The longer you have the ads up, the more money you will generate over time. Take care and swift bloggin.
