So yeah today started out by finding out there’s a leak in the water main right in front of our house so the city will have to repair that soon. Then tonight when I was driving a friend home some car hit a wall on the freeway and spun around a couple of times and that was pretty darn scary. Above all that it hasn’t exactly totally sunken in that I move in, in 2 days.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas

The drive into Las Vegas, Nevada was pretty long but not as long as the first time. Anyways we finally got into Las Vegas and headed for the hotel. When we got there to check-in the notified me that they didn’t had the room we had reserved. Anyways I told them I reserved it a week ago but they said that it was a “first come. first serve” basis in which they assign rooms. So basically my reservation, reserving a room, wasn’t really a reservation I guess.?.?.?.

So anyways the lady that was checking us in was new and so annoying. she kept on talking and talking. Finally she gave us a room that was un-designated. Then she said “that means someone at some point could have smoked or not”. When we opened our room we found out that we might as well be smoking cause it was awful in there.

I called the manager and they gave us a petite suite with a roll-away bed. Basically it was like 2 or 3 rooms big. A king bed with and TV in front and then two couches, a table and a TV. The bathroom was a little small but who cares? haha. Once we saw that room, all was well and we weren’t pissed anymore.

When we woke up today it was pouring outside. It was pretty crazy and no one else was around the hotel :-/ kinda scary. Anyways it rained for a little while and the lightning was fierce… but unfortunately I didn’t have the luck of being struck by lightning.

After it cleared up we went out to lunch and then we were off to visit the Glenwood Caverns. In order to get up into the caves we had to take a ski lift. When we got there the lift was down so they were buss-in people up. Lucky us, after we got our tickets, they started the lift back up so we got to ride it up. When we go there we looked around n snapped some pictures. There was a sing up there that we all wanted to go on but it was pretty lame.

Then it was time to go in the caves so we met up with a tour guide from Romania. Shes was pretty nice. She thought we were making fun of her for her accent when all we were taking about was how many pictures i could take. So she got mad at us and was like “I’ve only been working here 2 days” :-o. haha. Anyways we went through some beautiful caves with some pretty cool formations. In all the tour was about an hour long.

After we went on this frikkin scary roller coaster. It took about an hour standing in line but finally we were off. They almost looked like sleds rolling down a metal track. They had breaks so you could brake if you needed to. Of course I’m a daredevil and was totally against that. Well forget not braking. Holy Crap! It was so scary. We all went so frikkin fast hahaha. It felt like I was gonna fly off the side of the cliff.

As soon as the adventure began, it ended. After we took a drive to Aspen which was nice but I was so tired it wasn’t that appealing. We shopped a little and went n got some pretty sweet pizza. cept my plate was COVERED with grease at the end. It was a pretty sweet town with nice public bathrooms and little cricks flowing in front of the businesses. After that we were on our way back for the night.

We pretty much have stayed up all night again tonight. haha. There was nothing open when we went out about 2am. LAME. Thank God for 7-11.

Yeah we just got back from six hours of white water rafting/ kayaking. I’ll post more about it later.

[edit]
Oh man it has been so busy out here from cruzin the town to getting some rest haha. Last night we got about an hour or two of sleep before we had to get ready for the fun. It was such a great experience from cruzin down the rapids to sitting in hot springs to riding the current downstream and swimming in the Colorado River. The water wasn’t too bad but the sun did a nice job of burnin haha.

What we did was we were bussed about 9 miles up the river where we were dropped off and got in our boats. We then cruzed for awhile through some mild rapids haha and I mean mild. Then we stopped n chilled in some hot springs which were so nice xcept for the yucky smell of sulfur. Then we kept on goin down the river, soaked some rafts and stopped by the ‘rafting headquarters’ for some lunch.

After that we got in some one-man kayaks and paddled down the river. Some of us (me) unfortunately uhhh well went for a nice dip in the water about three times haha. Anyways another three hours later and we stopped on the shore about 7 miles downstream and were bussed back to headquarters.

It was such a great experience. It was so fun and the beauty of our surroundings was amazing. Plus we had a fun boat. There was a lighter hair colored lady in which had many funny things to say lol and her boyfriend didnt mind pointing out that it was in her best interest to stop haha. But yeah I’d definately love to go again.
